- Description
- The 319th Contracting Flight at Grand Forks AFB, ND intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a firm fixed price for project JFSD 200813 Repair Water Tower 234. This is a pre-solicitation notice/synopsis only. Tentative solicitation release date is February 07, 2014. Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, supplies, and supervision necessary to perform the project in strict accordance with the Technical Specifications and Drawings. Project includes, but is not limited to interior wet structural work, interior cathodic protection work, interior wet coating work, exterior structural work, exterior dry coating work, general conditions work and all other support construction as required per the specification and drawings. The magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. The performance period will be fifty (50) calendar days after notice to proceed. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 237110, Water and Sewer Lines and Related Structures Construction with a size standard of $33.5M. The solicitation will be set aside 100% for Small Businesses. This will be a Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation. There will be no public bid opening. Award will be made using source selection procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.3, Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation supplement (AFFARS) 5315.3, and MP 5315.3 and also based upon Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR 15 and the terms in the solicitation. The government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest price. Evaluation factors will be set forth in Sections L & M of the solicitation. No paper copies or CD-ROMS will be issued. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to visit this website frequently for any updates and/or amendments to all documents.
