Description

Draft Statement of Work (SOW): The draft of Statement of Work for project L-Beam Section: Prints of Government furnished beams Atch_1_-_MR_Questionnaire: Market Research Questionaire THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The 36th Contracting Squadron is looking for 8(a) small business vendors that are capable of providing: 1.) Design and fabrication of nine (9) Double Tee beams with the following nominal dimensions: 10ft-0in span, 5ft-0in on center beam to beam, 18in beam depth. The end beams sections shall terminate on each end to be flush with the existing parfait wall. 2.) Fabricate the beam section with 6ksi concrete and reinforcement using pre-stressed steel wired strand cables, with the following ultimate yield strength of no less than 270ksi. 3.) Furnish weld plates connectors for government to place at design locations on L-beam section for structural connection of Double Tee beams to building structure. The contractor shall deliver materials to Northwest Field portion of Andersen Air Force Base, lift, place, and weld Double Tee beams on government furnished equipment (see attached government furnished L-beam section). The contractor shall also provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, clearances, engineering design services, transportation, supervision, and other incidental work required for the project. Please see Attachment 2, Draft Statement of Work (SOW). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is anticipated to be 238120, Structural Steel and Precast Concrete Contractors. The size standard is $14 Million. A Government requirement is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential 8(a) small business sources for the requirement. Interested parties are requested to address the questions in Attachment 1, Market Research Questionnaire.
