- Expressions of Interest Sought Requirement : The United States Government is seeking 4 reserved offsite parking spaces in Duluth, MN. The garage, surface lot or ramp should be within the following delineated boundaries: Kenwood Avenue connecting to N 11 th Avenue E to the East, N Arlington Avenue, connecting to E Central Entrance to Mesaba Avenue to the West, Highway 35 to the South and West Arrowhead Road to the North. The lease term requirement is for 10 years, 5 years firm. The parking must be available for occupancy by March 15, 2014. Expressions of Interest must be submitted to the above address by 4:00 PM CST on January 31, 2014 and must include the following information: Building name and address of parking site. Date of parking space availability. Amount of parking available on-site and the monthly cost per trailer. Indicate whether the monthly rate includes taxes. Offered parking space must meet Government requirements for Handicapped Accessibility and lighting (if applicable). Building ownership information. Parking structure features (ie access card, roving security, camera monitored, cashier etc.) Spaces will be secure with fencing 7' high with 1' barbed wire angled outward (if permissible) or incorporate other approved fencing top guard technology. Access and availability required 24/7, with in/out privileges. Prefer sliding vice swinging or lifting gates due to drifting snow. Motorized with pin pad or call box to security office. Gates should be constructed of steel (vice aluminum) and provide for a robust track and catch system designed for secure closure even in high winds/snow. Parking location should be lit 24/7 for safety/security purposes and should have security cameras monitored by security office personnel for entire site. •· Reserved parking: Dedicated, onsite parking for (4) trailers, dimensions below. Ensure adequate swing radius is provided to hook up and maneuver trailers with specified GOV's. Must be able to accommodate 4 trailers (minimum height 6'9"/maximum height 9'0", minimum width 7'10"/maximum width 7'11", minimum length 13'7"/maximum length 20'2"). The federal government is seeking parking space for government trailers and 24/7 access is required for the garage, surface lot or ramp. Submissions by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the owner granting permission to make a general offering of the parking spaces. The General Services Administration will not be using a tenant broker to represent the Government in parking lease negotiations.
