Description
Pre-Solicitation Notice RFP-200-1238-CS The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing Non-Secure Residential Juvenile Services (Juvenile Services) for male and female juvenile offenders held under the authority of United States Statutes in the District of South Dakota located in any county within the boundaries of the State of South Dakota except Aurora, Buffalo, Charles Mix, Clay, Douglas, Gregory, Hughes, Lyman, Stanley, and Yankton. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work entitled, "Non-Secure Juvenile Facility, Amended February 2004, Modified May 2005, Modified December 2008, Modified March 2009, Modified July 2011, and Modified January 2013." The majority of juvenile referrals stem from a Native American cultural background, and consequently, all services shall engender some Native American cultural tenets. This is an indefinite delivery, requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The services are estimated to be 63% male and 37% female for the two-year Base Period and each of the three, one-year Option Periods. The estimated number of inmate days is 5,848 for the two-year Base Period; 2,920 for Option Year One; 2,920 for Option Year Two; and 2,920 for Option Year Three. The solicitation will be available on or about February 26, 2014, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests or written requests for the solicitation will be accepted. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of RFP-200-1238-CS will be on or about April 28, 2014. Faith-Based and Community Organizations Faith-Based and Community Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
