Description

The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Contracting Department, Groton Office requests responses from qualified sources capable of Inspecting and Writing a Report for the Four (4) Yard Patrol Boats located the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland in accordance with the statement of work in the attached RFQ N00189-14-T-G045. This is a SYNOPSIS for commercial services prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This synopsis shall be posted on both the FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00189-14-T-G045. The NAICS code is 336611- Ship Building and Repairing, and the small business standard is 1,000 Employees. Questions regarding technical or contractual issues must be addressed to the Purchasing Agent via e-mail or fax ONLY. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the vendor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.arnet.gov/far and www.acq.osd.mil. Lack of registration in the System Award Management (SAM) database (www.sam.gov) will make a vendor ineligible for award. NO QUOTES WILL BE CONSIDERED WITHOUT DFARS PROVISION 252.209-7994 AND FAR 52.222-52 RETURNED WITH QUOTES. Payment will be made with Wide Area Work Flow.
