STRATTON; 113 HOLLAND AVE.; ALBANY, NY 12208 AGENCY: Department of Veterans Affairs; Network Contracting Organization 2; VA Healthcare Network 2875 Union Rd, Ste 3500 (2-90NCO), Cheektowaga, NY 14227 POC JAMES O'MELIA Email to james.o'melia@va.gov DESCRIPTION: In preparation for a future procurement, the VA Medical Center in Albany, NY is performing market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, hub zone, 8(a), small disadvantage business, woman-owned, small business, or large business) relative to NACIS 221112 (size standard 750 employees) that can offer the products listed below: All responsible sources may submit a response which shall be considered by the contracting officer. Requested Items: Line Item 1: 48,000 gallons of fuel oil, ultra low sulfur #2 (>15 PPM) for boiler plant at the Albany VA Medical Center. Contract will provide Ultra Low Sulfur #2 fuel oil (>15PPM) to the VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 113 Holland Avenue, Albany,New York 12208 Delivery will consist of: o Delivery to be schedule at least 1 week in advance of contact (deliveries will be accepted Monday through Friday 7am - l pm) o Bill of Lading Receipt and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) along with Product sheet showing the products property will accompany delivery and written certification of sulfur content o Delivery truck will be able to delivery into 4" drop port. o Delivery will consist of 16,000 gals per delivery a total of 3 deliveries for 48,000 gallons starting on February 15 2014 and ending July 30, 2014. o No deliveries shall be implemented without the consent of the COTR Interested companies should submit an electronic statement outlining their company's capability and capacity to provide the product, the specifications of the therapy units, and the delivery time to deliver the product to Albany, NY. Also, firms should provide their business size status in accordance with the small business administration guidelines (www.sba.gov) for the NAICS code they fall within. This Sources sought is for informational purposes and all businesses able to provide these supplies are encouraged to submit information regardless of Business size. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available.
