- 30 JAN 2014: Purpose of Amendment is to notify potential offerors of the following. We extend the proposal due date yesterday because of weather. If you have already mailed your proposal you can print, sign, and email the amendment. 29 JAN 2014: Purpose of Amendment is to extned the proposal due date. This was given due to the fact there has been extreme weather last week and projected for the next few days. 27 Jan 14: Purpose of amendment is to correct the SF1449 CLINS 2018,3018 and 4018 descriptions. The descriptions have been changed from Crash Recovery to Fabrication Shop. 24 Jan 14: Attached Q&A and conformed classifications 23 Jan 14: Amendment: Adding attachment for answers to Q&A 8 Jan 14: Amendment: The response date changed to 24 Jan 2014 from 16 Jan 2014 for proposals and past performance. The last day for questions will remain 10 Jan 14 but we will accept questions pertaining to the Governments answers until 16 Jan 14. THIS IS OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION OF THE ISSUANCE OF A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) The United States Air Force, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio 45433-5309 is soliciting for a firm-fixed price contract for Logistics Support Services (LSS). This is a solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Subpart 12.6. This requirement for this is to procure labor, supervision, facilities, vehicles, equipment, tools, materials, and other items and services (except those identified as Government furnished) to perform logistics support services (LSS) for Base Supply, Transportation, and Transient and Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Maintenance. For the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and other documents for this solicitation see addendums and attachments. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 561210. The size standard is $35.5M employees. This requirement is a 100% for small business set-aside. Solicitation number for this requirement is FA8601-14-R-0005. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-71, 25 Nov 2013. *** Site Visit *** Wright Patterson AFB will be conducting a Site Visit with regards to this solicitation on 19 December 2013. The details of this Site Visit are as follows: Date: 19 December 2013 Time: 0800-1300 Location: Hope Hotel & Richard C. Holbrooke Conference Center, Building #823, Area A, Gate 12 A, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio 45433, Phone: (937) 879-2696. Attendees: 2 company representatives will be granted access per contractor Participation in this event will be at no cost to the government. All travel, lodging, and transportation arrangements will be at expense of the contractor. Base access and participation in this event must be coordinated with Dustin Gilroy by noon EST, 17 December 2013. If your company plans to attend this Site Visit, please contact Dustin Gilroy at 937-522-4606 or dustin.gilroy@us.af.mil, or contact Richard Fries at 937-522-4567 at richard.fries@us.af.mil. You will need to provide visitor's name, driver's license number, state of issue, and email. The pass will be e-mailed to the visito and will require an Adobe Reader to open. Print and bring pass to the site visit. All questions concerning this solicitation need to be submitted no later than noon on Friday 10 January 2014. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS: All prospective awardees are required to register at the System for Award Management (SAM) and to maintain active registration during the life of the contract. SAM can be accessed at https://www.sam.gov. Any award resulting from this solicitation will include DFARS Clause 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests. Section 1008 of the National Defense Authorization Act of Fiscal Year 2001 requires any claims for payment (invoices) under DoD contract to be submitted in electronic form. Wide area Workflow- Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA) is the DoD system of choice for implementing this statutory requirement. Use of the basic system is at no cost to the contractor. Contractors must complete vendor training, which is also available at no cost at http://www.wawftraining.com.
