- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a sole source award in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). A sole-source, fixed-price contract with Hamilton Robotics Ltd 4970 Energy Way Reno, Nevada 89502 to procure maintenance service agreement for a FBI owned Hamilton Robotic Workstation The Hamilton Robotic Workstation is manufactured and owned exclusively by Hamilton Robotics Ltd therefore, support services must be provided by Hamilton Robotics Ltd. Failure to purchase the identified items would result in the following: 1) voiding the manufacturer's warranty of the Hamilton Robotic Workstation. Hamilton Robotics Ltd.is the only vendor with certified technician to provide maintenance on Hamilton Robotic Workstation. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase will be awarded without further notice. This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (www.fedbizopps.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests in this requirement to this office by 9:00 AM (Eastern) February 09, 2014, via e-mail to the attention of: Montarious Usher, at Montarious.Usher@ic.fbi.gov. The North American Industrial Classification System Number (NAICS) is -- J059 - MAINT/REPAIR/REBUILD OF EQUIPMENT- ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT COMPONENTS. The awardees shall be registered in the Central Contractor's Database (CCR) and also the Online Representations and Certification (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference and apply to the acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to offeror-Commercial Items (FEBRUARY 2012): FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Item (JAN 1999), FAR clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Items (FEBRUARY 2012); FAR clause, 52-212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items (FEBRUARY 2012). Each offeror shall include a complete copy of the clause 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Item (FEBRUARY 2012).
