- Brand Name Justification This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO ( http://www.neco.navy.mil/ ). The RFQ number is N00124-14-Q-0178. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-72 - effective January 1, 2014 and DFARS Change Notice 20131231. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 511210 and the Small Business Standard is $25 Million. This is a 100% Small business Set Aside. The Naval War College (NWC) requests responses from Splunk authorized distributors, resellers and partners Licensing shall be for the Date of Contract Award + 12 Months. Quoters shall include a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 ALT I with quotes. Offeror must be registered on the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. The website address is www.sam.gov. In addition to this, each quote must contain the name, address and telephone number of the offeror as well as any discount terms that are offered. Any amendments hereby issued to this solicitation will be synopsized in the same manner as this solicitation and must be acknowledged by each quoter. Any quote or modifications to quotes received after the specified due date for receipt of quotes will not be considered. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to a responsible quoter whose quote conforms to the solicitation and is considered most advantageous to the Government. Award will be made on the basis of lowest overall price. This announcement will close at 4:00PM Eastern Standard Time on February 7, 2014.
