- PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) Acquisition Center intends to make a sole source modification to contract W900KK-13-C-0007 to develop geo-specific terrain databases and exercise support for the Call For Fire Trainer (CFFT), for the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF). This requirement will result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) FMS sole-source modification to contract W900KK-13-C-0007 to Fidelity Technologies Corporation, CAGE Code 0CJZ9, located at 2501 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA, 19605-2961, under NAICS Code 333318, with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees, estimated at $254,630.00, under FMS Case BA-B-UJS, Amendment 01. The Period of Performance (POP) for the FMS Bahrain requirement will be 24 months, which provides for one (1) 5-day exercise per year with support. The effort will utilize FMS non-expiring funds. ACQUISITION APPROACH: This action will be awarded in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, quote mark Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. quote mark Fidelity Technologies Corporation is the sole supplier of the CFFT II system, and contract W900KK-13-C-0007 was awarded to Fidelity Technologies. Fidelity Technologies is also a qualified U.S. Contractor for export-controlled technical data in reference to CFFT II Foreign Military Sales. ESTIMATED DOLLAR VALUE: The total value for this contract action is estimated at approximately $254,630.00. RESPONSES REQUESTED: This notice is provided to verify that no other sources can meet this requirement given the proprietary technical and cost requirements. This notification is provided for contractors interested in teaming/subcontracting opportunities. Additionally, respondents should indicate whether they are a large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a) concern, women-owned small business, HUBZone, service disabled veteran-owned small business, or qualify as socially or economically disadvantaged and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. Responses to this notice will be used to determine the availability of this type of service. All responsible sources may respond to this synopsis and all responses will be considered by the agency. Responses should be furnished electronically to the contacts listed below not later than 4:00 P.M. EST, Sunday, March 2nd, 2014.
