Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Mountain Home, TN, is preparing to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Project Number 621-320, to expand the Emergency Room in Bldg. 204 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), Mountain Home, TN. SET-ASIDE: 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOSB) PROJECT MAGNITUDE: $2,000,000 TO $5,000,000 NAICS: 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: $33.5 million PROJECT OVERVIEW: The project will require the selected contractor to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and qualified supervision necessary to construct an expansion of the Emergency Room located in Bldg, 204 at the J. H. Quillen, VAMC, Mt. Home, TN. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work, specifications and drawings. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses under the authority of 38 U.S.C 8127(d). To be eligible for award the SDVOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS code. SDVOSB contractors must be verified and viewable in VETBIZ www.vip.vetbiz.gov prior to submission of bid and prior to award of contract. Status as a qualified SDVOSB concern is under the authority of 38 CFR Part 74 in accordance with the VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) Part 819. Eligibility determination is performed by the Center for Veterans Enterprises (CVE). Eligible SDOVSB concerns must also be registered at the following websites: System for Award Management (SAM): https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ VETS100 Report must be complete: http://www.dol.gov/vets/vets-100.html The solicitation will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website www.fbo.gov on or about February 10, 2014.
