- Amendment 0001 dated 1/31/2014 The purpose of this modification is to increase the quantity by 6 each. The total quantity is 12 each vice 6 each. SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE/BRAND NAME This is a SSC Pacific combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Competitive quotes are being requested under N66001-14-T-6430. This requirement is set-aside for small business. NAICS CODE: 334112 and business size standard is 1,000 employees Basis for award: The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price purchase order based on the lowest priced technically acceptable bidder. To be considered for award, the offeror certifies that the product being offered is an original and new IBM product, and that the subject products are eligible for all manufacturer warranties and other ancillary services or options provided by the manufacturer. Offeror further certifies that it is authorized by the manufacturer to sell the IBM products that are the subjects of this action in the U.S. Offerors are required to submit documentation with the offer identifying its supply chain for the product, and certifying that all products are new and in their original packaging. By making an offer, offeror also consents to cancellation of award if, upon inspection after delivery, any products provided are not recognized or acknowledged by the manufacturer as new and original products that are eligible for warranties and all other ancillary services or options provided by the manufacturers or that offeror was not authorized by the manufacturer to sell the product in the U.S. Offerors should be cognizant that the product in Item 0001 is a discontinued or obsolete IBM product that may be difficult to obtain or acquire for resale in compliance with the requirements listed above. Offerors should not offer a bid for this item without ensuring they will be able to supply this item in the required quantity and in a timely manner consistent with the delivery requirements of this RFQ in addition to the requirements noted above.
