- THE GOVERNMENT IS REQUESTING A MULTIPLE YEAR QUOTE UNDER LINE ITEM 0001. THIS IS THE GOVERNMENT'S PREFERENCE. IF UNABLE TO QUOTE UNDER LINE ITEM 0001 FOR A MULTIPLE YEAR REQUIREMENT, PLEASE QUOTE UNDER LINE ITEM 0002 FOR A FIRM FIXED PRICE QUANTITY RANGE SUBJECT TO REVALIDATION. FIRST ARTICLE WILL NOT BE WAIVED There is a requirement for a Fit Check in addition to the First Article Test Report, Material Certification, Certificate of Compliance, and Non-Destructive Test. After the Non-Destructive Testing has been performed by the contractor in accordance with 52.209-3 (Contractor Test), it is to be shipped to Tinker. The Government will perform a Fit Check in accordance with 52.209-4 (Government Test). If the First Article Reports and Fit check are approved, this exhibit will remain on the aircraft and will not be forwarded to USAF supply buy will be considered part of the contract quantity. The Contractor shall not proceed with production quantities until notice of First Article approval is received from the Contracting Officer. ENSURE THE WORDS "FIRST ARTICLE" ARE MARKED ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX IN LARGE RED CONSPICUOUS LETTERS. Data Package: Technical Data Package for subject RFQ is available through www.fbo.gov. Qualification Requirements: QRs must be met IAW Clause 52.209-1 "Qualification Requirements (FEB 1997)" prior ro award. Contract award will not be delayed to allow an offeror completion of qualification requirements/process. Export Control: You are REQUIRED to be "EXPORT CONTROLLED" certified in order to receive and view the drawings for this solicitation.
