Description

This synopsis is being posted to FBO.FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, RI (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Sole Source Requirement to Teledyne RD Instruments (Teledyne RDI). The contract shall provide the following service(s) DESCRIPTION QUANTITY TASK 0001: DT-705 REMOVE BIOFOULING 1/JOB TASK 0003: DT-705 REPLACE DIG CRT BRD 1/JOB TASK 0008: DT-705 CLEAN COND CELL 1/JOB TASK 0009: DT-705 CALIBRATION 1/JOB TASK 0003: DT-705 REPLACE DIG CRT BRD 1/JOB TASK 0009: DT-705 CALIBRATION 1/JOB TASK 0001: DT-705 REMOVE BIOFOULING 1/JOB TASK 0003: DT-705 REPLACE DIG CRT BRD 1/JOB TASK 0007: DT-705 REPLACE CONNECTOR 1/JOB TASK 0008: DT-705 CLEAN COND CELL 1/JOB TASK 0009: DT-705 CALIBRATION 1/JOB TASK 0001: DT-705 REMOVE BIOFOULING 1/JOB TASK 0003: DT-705 REPLACE DIG CRT BRD 1/JOB TASK 0008: DT-705 CLEAN COND CELL 1/JOB TASK 0009: DT-705 CALIBRATION 1/JOB TASK 0010: DT-705 BUILD SHIPPING CRT 1/JOB These services are required to supply new construction platforms with DT-705A sensor assemblies. Teledyne RDI owns the rights to the DT-705 proprietary components. Therefor they are the only vendor that has the rights to the proprietary components of the DT-705 sensor assembly and is the sole source for this service. The purpose of this contract action is for services which the government intends to solicit and negotiate from only one source under the authority of FAR6.302-1. The procurement will be processed using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. A firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order is anticipated. In accordance with FAR 5.203(a) solicitation N66604-14-Q-1061 will be issued at least 15 days past the date of this notice of proposed action. Point of Contact: Christopher R.
