Description

Justification and Approval for TAFB BTS Bridge Contract The Department of the Air Force, 60th Contracting Squadron Base Support Flight (60 CONS/LGCB) intends to issue a follow-on sole source bridge contract award to SIKU Construction, LLC. The anticipated period of performance for this critical requirement is 1 March 2014 through 30 June 2014 (4 months). The award is to provide base telecommunications system maintenance for operations and maintenance services and other services required to ensure the Travis AFB Telecommunications System (NORTEL SL100, Nortel CS1000 and CISCO Local Session Control w/call managers) is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The Government plans to solicit and make an award for this requirement to only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-2 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2). A redacted Justification and Approval determination is attached. This is not a request for competitive proposals. Solicitation packages are not available. Responses received in relation to this notice will be reviewed; however, ultimate determination regarding this sole source procurement requirement rests with the Contracting Officer. Responses must be received by 21 February 2014, 1500, PST.
