Description
Clauses FBO Notice TV Technical Maintenance Services Support (Hourly) BBG50-Q-14-00019 IQ V011-14-IQ-00025 First Question: Is this a full-time, on-site position or is it as required? Answer: As written in the Solicitation for Services Support in the Time of Performance Section: "The schedule will vary depending on the need of the government". The program manager will make determination at the time of award. Second Question: Are Firms eligible to submit proposals? Answer: In accordance with the solicitation for Services for Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13, this requirement will be 100% Small Business Set aside. If your Firm qualifies as a "Small Business Set aside" you can submit a proposal. Third Question, three parts: •1. Am I correct in understanding that this Solicitation is a Small Business set aside, but potential respondents are not limited by the Standard Business Size listed in your Solicitation? Answer: The Solicitation is a Small Business Set Aside. As stated in the Solicitation, 4th paragraph. Regarding work on Government holidays, would you please clarify the following requirements. Does the Scope of this contract require work on all government holidays or does it require contractors to be available for work on government holidays if required. Answer: In the Time of Performance Section, the following applies "VOA is a 24/7 news/program operation and the schedule will vary depending on the need of the government. The Program Manager will make determination at the time of award. If the latter in 2a above is true, will contractors be scheduled in advance for work on government holidays or must they be available on an on-call basis, and if so, during what hours? Answer: The Program Manager will try to make every effort to schedule as far in advance as possible for work on government holidays. Contractor are also to be available on an on-call basis. VOA is a 24/7 news/program operation and the sechedule will vary depending on the need of the government.
