Description

Upgrade Lighting Systems. This project consists of upgrading the exterior wall pack lights throughout the campus, upgrading areas within the Hospital Complex with emergency power, and upgrading the lights in the stairwells of the Hospital Complex at the VA Black Hills Medical Center, Fort Meade, SD. Work includes necessary demolition, tie-ins, and restoration. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment, and necessary supervision to perform all work associated with this project as indicated on the contract documents. Solicitation Number VA263-14-Q-1490 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about February 7rd, 2014. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings, and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized Site Visit will not be held. (See solicitation when available for point of contact information to arrange a site visit, if desired.) Quotations are tentatively scheduled to be due on Thursday, March 6th, 2014 by 4:00 PM CST. The Period of Performance is expected to be 150 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclose of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
