- The National Park Service's Missouri Major Acquisition Buying Office is issuing this sources sought announcement of the Odyssey Theater Equipment Maintenance Services at Jefferson National Expansion Memorial, Saint Louis, MO. The Government contemplates soliciting for the award of one firm-fixed price contract with an anticipated performance period of one base 9 month base period, plus two six-month option periods, for a total of one year and nine months. The NAICS for this acquisition is 811219 - Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a size standard of $19M. It is the Government's intent to utilize the contract resulting from the associated solicitation to accomplish Odyssey Theater Equipment Maintenance Services. Under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) guidelines, the prime contractor must have the capability to perform at least 50% of the cost of labor. The intent is to issue a solicitation on a set aside basis to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, HUB Zone concerns, Women Owned Small Business, Economic Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business, 8(a), or Small Business concerns. The type of set-aside to issue will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among a qualified potential pool of contractors. The intention of the future solicitation is to obtain Odyssey Theater Equipment Maintenance Services as outlined below and described in the draft Scope of Work. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, transportation, vehicles to perform all work associated with maintenance services in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, and regulations. Interested Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, HUB Zone concerns, Women Owned Small Business, Economic Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business, 8A, or Small Business concerns should indicate their interest to the Contracting Officer in writing. A soft copy of the firm's capability statement is requested. The statement should reflect (a) relevant Government or commercial contract past performance history (3-5 years of 70mm theater equipment maintenance), (b) ability to secure and maintain compatible parts required for maintenance and repair, (c) describe specific portions of this type of effort your company intends to subcontract and (d) a positive statement of your intention to submit an offer for this solicitation as a prime contractor. If an 8(a) firm, the firm's estimated 8(a) graduation date should be included in the information. The information requested should not exceed five total single-sided pages, single spaced with twelve-pitch font size. Interested parties are requested to submit responses to this announcement, via email ONLY to the Contracting Officer, by 8:00 am Central Time on 17 Feb 2014. Paper copies of this announcement will not be provided. Any future solicitation information, if released, may be obtained through fbo.gov. Any questions relating to this announcement must be submitted in writing, via email ONLY, to the Contracting Officer, Ms. Terri Dyke, terri_dyke@nps.gov.
