Description
Sources Sought Market Survey FY14 MILCON DESC 15S1 Ground Vehicle Fueling Facility DFSP NAF Atsugi, Japan Synopsis: (1) Provide a ground fuels facility consisting of four self-contained ASTs (6,000 gal/ea) and integral receipt and dispensing station with three outlets. Work includes canopy, emergency showers, fuel filters, fuel piping, site work and utilities. Modify existing truck loading facility and demolish four existing gasoline USTs and one AST. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Japan District anticipates the release of Request for Proposal (RFP) for this project. Any solicitations pursued are intended for local sources only. Local sources are sources physically located and licensed to perform construction work in Japan. The total estimated cost for this project is between 100,000,000-500,000,000 Japanese Yen. The Government intends to require contractors to demonstrate bonding capacity within this range in Japanese Yen for this project. Sources Sought Questionnaire: Interested firms are requested to furnish comments on the following questions: 1. For projects within the last six (6) years, describe your firm's capability and experience in Government or comparable commercial projects of fuel systems and infrastructure. Comparable systems to include but not limited to fuel service stations and dispensing stations for vehicles. 2. For projects within the last six (6) years, describe your firm's capability and experience installing facilities and infrastructure at sites with undersized laydown/staging areas. 3. Provide a list of relevant or similar projects including Project Title, location, completion date and magnitude. 4. Provide a list of projects that your firm has performed work on U.S. military installations in Japan. If you do not have any comments on a particular question, please indicate as such.
