NAICS Code: 221112 Estimated Quantity: 83,508,997 kWhs Destination Information: Electricity and ancillary services, for ultimate transfer to Army Corps of Engineers; Institute for Defense Analyses; Maryland Procurement Office; National Institute of Health; National Arboretum; Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab; Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst; and Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory in Maryland; New Jersey; and District of Columbia. Delivery Schedule and Duration of the Contract Period: The Government is soliciting offers for 12 months (meter read date in June 2014 through the meter read date in June 2015). This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement and the document constitute the only solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) and has incorporated provisions and clauses as in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-72. Additional requirements may be added by amendment. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered.
