- Description
- This is a notice of intent that AFMC AFSC/PZAAC anticipates issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a Commercial Spare Buy to include a One-Time Buy for Foreign Military Sales (FMS). This is a Firm-Fixed Price Type Acquisition for the Purchase of "Chamber, Environment", which will be Spares for FMS. The Quantity is: 4 Each. The National Stock Number (NSN) is: 6636-01-597-8660RN. The Part Number (P/N) is: MODEL 1200S. This acquisition is Sole Source to: Thunder Scientific Corporation (Cage 51528). A Distributor only is: RH Systems (Cage 3HT11). The Projected Delivery will be 180 Days After Receipt of Contract. Early Delivery is Acceptable. The Response Date for issuing the actual Solicitation will be approximately 24 February 2014 with a Quote Due Date of approximately 14 March 2014. The RFQ will be issued using electronic procedures which will be posted at the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED and no hard copies will be mailed out. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation shall be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the Buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the Contracting Officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. When appropriate, potential offeror(s) may contact Ombudsman: Ms. Kim McDonald at 478-222-1088.
