- The expected release date of the Request For Proposal is updated to February 20, 2014. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP)#2014-N-15787 as an 8(a) small business set-aside to support the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases (NCEZID). The RFP will be posted on FedBizOpps and is expected to be released February 20, 2014. The resultant contract or contracts will be Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity. CDC will reserve the right to make multiple awards and compete task orders among the awardees. The period of performance is expected to be sixty months. Work will be performed at the CDC, 1600 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA 30329. The estimated contract ceiling is $55,000,000.00. The applicable NAICS code is 541990 with a size standard of $14 million. All responsible 8(a) small businesses may submit a proposal for consideration in response to the RFP. This is a follow-on requirement to Contract 200-2013-54607 with Eagle Medical Services, LLC,1826 N Loop 1604 W # 350C, San Antonio, TX, 78248. 1. Development, enhancement and operation of various program operations support services, including administrative support, are needed to maintain ongoing operations and maintain accountability and transparency. Division of Global Migration and Quarantine (DGMQ) research and laboratory activities require support in developing and implementing research studies.  -Data management  -Statistical support  -Administrative support  -Financial and contract management  -Human resource support  -Planning and budgeting  -Financial management  -Policies and procedures  -Human resource planning and development  -Facilities and logistics support  -Quality assurance and quality control 2. Communication, education and training of internal staff and internal and external partners are critical to programmatic success of DGMQ.  -Planning of communication strategies  -Development of communication, education and training materials  -Development and publishing of websites  -Deployment of communication, education and training efforts  -Conducting evaluations (formative, process, and outcome)  -Conducting needs assessments  -Coordinating clearance of publications and other materials for distribution within and external to the Division  -Writing and editing services 3. Consulting support services in refining and enhancing the organizations strategic plan, developing the organizational structure and related processes to support the strategic plan, as well as a variety of consulting services in which recommendations are provided on implementing the organizational design, managing changing and developing the workforce to meet organizational objectives.  -Strategic planning  -Organizational development  -Project planning and control  -Business process design and performance improvement  -Metrics and performance management
