- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for two (2) separate Park Attendant Service contracts for the Midway Recreation Area, Cape Cod Canal; Cape Cod, MA. The work consists of: The scope of this contract includes the daily operation and minor maintenance of campsites, contact station, and host site. The services to be accomplished under this contract will be performed by a two-person team 21 years or older who are both physically and mentally capable of serving jointly as Park Attendants and each able fulfill all tasks described in the duties description specified in this contract. The period of performance: 16 APRIL 2014 to 13 OCT 2014 (92 work days). The request for quotations will be available on or about 24 FEB 2014 and will be available for downloading by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov). In order to view the request for quotations, prospective contractors are required to self register their firm with Federal Business Opportunities (Go to http://www.fbo.gov and quote mark register now quote mark under Vendor/Citizens). Amendments, if any, will be available at this Internet site. Registrants are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registration list. This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 561990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $10,000,000. The anticipated award date is March 12, 2014. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the New England District.
