- AMENDED: This is a Pre-Solicitation Synopsis for the Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI, CCRC-IJ) for solicitation W9098S-14-T-0124, which serves as notification to industry of the need for a vendor to recycle, out dated x-ray equipment that contains beryllium while adhering to all Federal, State, County, and Local recycling laws and regulations at No-Cost in exchange for salvaging the repairable parts in support of Rock Island Arsenal - Joint Manufacturing & Technology Center (RIA-JMTC) production. X-ray equipment to be removed is as follows: 1 Pantak PMS 1000 controller power supply cabinet, 1Cathode and anode high tension generator, 1 Oil cooler, 3, Comet MXR-320/326 X-Ray heads, 1 pallet of associated high voltage cables, and 4 manuals. The anticipated date for contract award is on/about 21 February 2014. The proposed action is for a one time Zero Dollar contract. The NAICS code for this procurement is 562211 (Hazardous Waste Treatment & Disposal) The proposed action is 100% Small Business Set-Aside.
