Sources Sought Synopsis Office and IT Warehouse Relocation Solicitation #: FA8201-14-R-Relocation Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: 1. This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. 2. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 484210 which has a corresponding Size standard of $25.5 Million. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a) Service-Disabled VeteranOwned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. 3. Below is a document containing a description of the Office and IT Warehouse Relocation requirement and a Contractor Capability Survey, which allows you to provide your company's capability. 4. If, after reviewing these documents, you desire to participate in the market research, you should provide documentation that supports your company's capability in meeting these requirements. Failure to provide documentation may result in the government being unable to adequately assess your capabilities. If you lack sufficient experience in a particular area, please provide details explaining how you would overcome the lack of experience/capabilities in order to perform that portion of the requirement (i.e., teaming, subcontracting, etc.) 5. REQUIREMENTS DESCRIPTION Office and IT Warehouse Relocation PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION We are conducting market research to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for relocating and assembling several cubicle offices, pallets of IT products, and heavy equipment from one warehouse to another as described in the attached Performance Work Specification. Can you provide a forklift and truck? 4. Are you capable of disassembling and reassembling modular office furniture (cubicles)? 5. Are you capable of assembling 35 ft. steel shelves? Part III.
