- "A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the same issue date cited in the solicitation. Choose the RFP you wish to download. Solicitations are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Arobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of the solicitation will not be available to requestors. The solicitation issue date 02/26/2014 and respond due date 03/26/2014. This requirement was authorized by purchase request 0050041114 and issued as 50% Partial Set-Aside 50% Unrestricted Procurement for source approvals. A Request for Proposal (RFP), SPE4A7-14-R-1499, was issued to establish a Definite Quantity Firm Fixed Price type contract; on NSN 1560-01-454-028, Parts Kit, Fuselage for 38 each. Item is Critical Application item and Configuration Controlled. Export Controlled does Applies. Item is not a commercial and not critical safety item. Item is in accordance with Kit List part number FS357C requirements. The need arrival date (NAD) is 01/05/2014; with an estimated award date (EAD) on 5/30/2014. Based on the NAD (Need Award Date) - EAD (Estimated Award Date) - FAT = RDD (Required Delivery Date); the time yields a number less Than 90 days, therefore, the acquisition specialist utilized a 25% reduction of the historical PLT (365 days) as delivery objective at 270 days for production 38 each. A Government First Article requires delivery @ 90 days after received order; with additional 30 days for Government Test/Evil for total delivery objective @ 150 DAFAA. Production to be delivers at FOB Point @ Origin with Inspection & Acceptance at Origin. Progress Payments are not authorized for this purchase. Reverse Auction may be conducted for final proposal revision and price validity.
