Description

The VA Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System (NWIHCS) intends to issue a solicitation for a Community Based Outpatient Clinic within the city of O'Neill, Nebraska. Primary care services will be performed at a contractor's facility. The facility will be dedicated solely for veterans. Services provided will include medical evaluation, diagnosis and medically necessary treatment of physiological and pathological conditions not requiring subspecialty or inpatient services. Payment will be on a "per-veteran per month" basis and represents an "all inclusive" reimbursement for clinical space and clerical support, routine delivery of primary care, including dietitian services, physician/physician assistants, nurse/nurse practitioner's services, completion and follow up of multiple preventive health screenings, flu vaccinations and annual physicals, labs including VA ordered lab draws, Nurse screening assessments, x-rays, EKGs. Some of the services will be provided via a telehealth methodology. Enrollment on an annual basis is estimated to be 400 veterans. Catchment area includes Antelope, Boyd, Brown, Garfield, Holt, Keya Paha, Knox, and Rock Counties in Nebraska. The contract will have a 12-month period of performance with four one-year long option periods. Services are expected to begin no earlier than June 15, 2014. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621498 (Size Standard: $19 million). The Government anticipates awarding a fixed-price indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract.
