Description

Unarmed Guard Services USMCFP Springfield, MO - Market Research Questionnaire The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is conducting market research in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. The Government contemplates awarding an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The projected requirement is for the provision of Unarmed Guard Services to be provided for the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners (USMCFP) located at Springfield, MO. The contractor will maintain constant guard and direct visual observation of federal prison inmate patients on site at a local hospital/medical facility designated by the Bureau of Prisons. It is estimated that 14,000 hourly sessions will be required for each 12 month contract period. Services will be required as needed and may be required at any time during a 24 hour period on any day of the week. It is anticipated that a resulting contract will consist of a base year plus four (4) additional one (1) year option periods. Each yearly contract period will consist of an estimated 14,000 one (1) hour sessions. *Note: This announcement is posted for Market Research only for the purpose of locating interested sources for the requirement.
