Ashli Butrico Email: Lauren.Butrico@dla.mil This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is notice of the Government's intent to issue a sole source purchase order to CNC Engineering (Cage: 1UBE3) under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603. The agency's minimum needs can only be satisfied by the unique supplies or services available from limited sources, which possess unique capabilities demonstrated as follows: 1. This is a follow-on contract to previous contract SPM4A8-13-C-0001 for the upgrade of a SIP 740 Jig Borer which was awarded to CNC Engineering Inc. 2. The rotary table purchased under SPM4A8-13-C-0001 for the SIP 740 Jig Borer upgrade was incorrectly ordered by the Customer and is not compatible with the SIP 740 Jig upgrade. 3. CNC Engineering possesses the unique service capability required to complete the successful installation of the highly specialized equipment and the specialized knowledge to perform informative training. 4. To prevent additional unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements this acquisition will be a follow-on contract for continued performance of highly specialized service. Solicitation number SPM4A8-14-X-0034 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This is notice of the Government's intent to issue a firm-fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.1, full and open competition and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603. Description of requirements: BRAND NAME OR EQUAL. Line Item 0001: P/N: THNC-301, Tsudakoma Rotary Table (01 EA); Line Item 0002: IUID Tag (01 EA); Line Item 0003: 20" Face Plate and Riser (01 EA); Line Item 0004: Separate Angular Encoder (01 EA), Line Item 0005: Installation to the SIP machine (01 EA); Line Item 0006: Shipping to include: return shipping of old table (01 EA). Performance period/completion date is 120 days after receipt of order. FOB Destination; Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. Destination is Cherry Point, NC 28533. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation sufficient to determine capability which shall be considered by the agency. Offers must be submitted to: Lauren.Butrico@dla.mil no later than closing response date and time. All respondents shall be registered in the System for Award Management, ORCA, and have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number. All offers received after the closing date listed may be considered "late" and may not be considered for award.
