Statement of Requirements THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION SYNOPSIS ANNOUNCEMENT, A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATION ONLY. IAW FAR 15.201(e) THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR QUOTES AND THERE WILL BE NO CONTRACT AWARD FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. THERE WILL BE NO REIMBURSEMENT FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SYNOPSIS IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.) The Government is seeking information to determine if additional sources are available to provide a walkaway 40 ADS4 microbiology analyzer/instrument with reagents in accordance with the attached Statement of Requirements (SOR) and the following: *CLIN 0001 Pop 7 April 2014 THRU 6 April 2015: Walkaway 40 ADS4 Analyzer (or Equal), to include reagents: Alpha Napthol, B1010-42A; Potasium Hydroxide, B1010-43A Kovac Reagent, B1010-41A; N-Dimethylalphan, B1010-45A Sulfanilic Acid, B1010-44A Ferric Cholride, B1010-48A; Peptidase, B1012-30b; Na Hydroxise, B1015-3 Iodine, B1010-94A; Indole, B1015-17;HNID Indole, B1015-15Pos Combo 20, B1017-200; Neg Urine Combo 33, B1017-303; Barcode L, B1018-129 Rapid Urine Comb, B1017-143;HNID Inoculum, B1015-16; HNID Panell, B1012-10B Yeast Panel, B1017-70; BHI Broth, B1010-30A; Mueller, B1015-9; 0.4% Saline, B1015-11 Prompt, B1026-10D; Innoculator D, B1013-4; Traylids, B1018-18; Waste Kit, B1018-74 Mineral Oil, B1010-40; Brench, B1018-14. (2) Type of business, (i.e., small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, Hub Zone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business, large business, etc.), under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS)334516, which contains a size standard of 500 employees, CAGE Code and DUNS Number. 3) Clear indication as to whether or not they can provide the items the government is seeking with supporting documentation. Final responses to this RFI will be due at Noon, Central Standard Time (CST), on 21 February 14. As industry may expect to see portions of submitted information in future solicitations, portions of the response containing proprietary information should be clearly marked as such. Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. Oral submissions of information are not acceptable and will not be accepted in response to this notice.
