Description

Description: Intra Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) Services. This is a Combined Synopsis for a commercial item acquisition and will be conducted in accordance FAR Part 13. This procurement is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business per VAAR 852.219-10 VA NOTICE OF TOTAL SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE (DEC 2009). The purpose of this Solicitation is to acquire IABP Services for the Miami VA Medical Center at the best value to the government. It is the intention of the Government to solicit a Request for Quote (RFQ) VA248-14-Q-0259, NAICS Code: 811219, size standard of five hundred $19 Million in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, and schedules of the solicitation and award a contract on a competitive basis. The contract resulting from the solicitation shall be a Firm Fixed Price contract for one (1) base year with four (4) yearly options to renew services. In an effort to meet the green initiative, documents shall be submitted electronically via email encrypted. Emails shall not be more than five (5) megabytes in size. The electronic solicitation will be announced on 11 February 2014. The offeror will be responsible for downloading all solicitation documents, amendments and other documents from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website (www.fbo.gov) without further notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO-8, Site Team Miami. Interested firms must be registered in the SAM database www.sam.gov. All correspondence and questions must be submitted in writing to the following email address: Ogniel.Alvarez@va.gov. All Requests for Information must be received via email before 14 February 2014 at 2:00pm.
