- Solicitation No. W912DW-14-Q-0012 Amendment No. 0002 This amendment is being issued to amend paragraph 3.2.1 of the PWS. The closing date of 14 February 2014 remains the same. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a non-personal services contract to provide well replacement and rehabilitation. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform well replacement and rehabilitation as defined in the Performance Work Statement, except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform all work in strict accordance with National and Local Building, Plumbing, Mechanical, and Electrical Codes and to the standards in this contract. JBLM Public Works Environmental Remediation Program (JBLM PW-ERP) is seeking to remove and replace two defective groundwater extraction pumps, pressure transducers and one variable frequency drive (VFD) at a groundwater treatment system. The length of the riser for the PW-4 and PW-6 replacement pumps will not change. The work will be performed at the site of a groundwater pump and treat system that was installed to remove contamination associated with historical disposal of degreasing agents at the Landfill 2 (LF-2), aka East Gate Disposal Yard (EGDY), located at the southeastern edge of the JBLM Logistics Center.
