Description

PREFACE: This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is not a request for quotes or proposals. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. PROJECT: Procure services for Hazardous Material Emergency Response. BACKGROUND: The VA New Jersey Healthcare System is conducting market research and seeking information from all interested vendors regarding the availability of a commercial service described in this Request for Information (RFI). This requirement is for trained supervision and manpower as well as equipment and materials to contain and remedy damages from a hazardous material or petroleum incident at the VANJHCS East Orange and Lyons campuses. QUALIFICATIONS: If required, the Contractor shall obtain all required permits, licenses, certifications, and authorizations to perform work under this contract and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The Contractor shall provide evidence of such permits and licenses. Place of Performance: VA New Jersey Healthcare System (East Orange and Lyons Campus and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs)) located in East Orange and Lyons New Jersey. The NAICS code is 562910 and the small business size standard is $19.0 million. REQUESTED INFORMATION: All questions listed below must be answered completely and submitted with your information. The vendor is encouraged to provide any additional information that it believes would be useful to the VA. 1) Does your business offer the services described above? 2) Is your business a United States business?
