- Note: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is NOT accepting quotes or proposals via submission through FBO. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Newport, Rhode Island intends to purchase first article and production Tomahawk Block IV Composite Capsule Launching System (CCLS) Mod 2 Launch Control Cables in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). A Firm Fixed Price type purchase order is anticipated. One First Article units will be required and the production quantity will be 5 units. Required delivery of first article units is 120 days after contract award and delivery of production units is 180 days after first article test acceptance, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. Further details will be provided in Solicitation #N66604-14-Q-1025, which is anticipated to be released on or about 02/26/14. NAICS Code 332618, Size Standard is 500 employees. This requirement is set aside for small business. Vendor must be JCP certified to receive drawings and/or specifications, which will be provided upon request. If expedited delivery is requested drawings and/or specifications will be mailed via FedEx; however, contractors must provide a FedEx Account # to be FedEx'd at contractor's expense. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/) to be eligible for award. Instructions for registration are available at the website. Award will be based on Best Value to the Government. Evaluation factors will be technical capability, price and past performance.
