- Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. Proposals are NOT being requested or accepted at this time. The solicitation will be posted electronically through FedBizOpps on or about February 12, 2014. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network 21 (VISN 21) has a requirement to Upgrade Building 360 at VA Palo Alto Health Care System, Menlo Park Division. Work includes providing power to patient doors of the patient wings of Building 360, and mounting a shade structure in the D/E and F/G courtyards. Project duration is not expected to exceed 180 Calendar days. All work to be performed will be within North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building construction, with a Small Business Size Standard of $33.5M. Estimated construction cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. Sealed bids shall be requested and shall only be accepted from contractors who were awarded a Veterans Integrated Service Network 21 (VISN 21) Multiple-Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) from Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21). As a reminder, MATOC holders must be currently registered in Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE). Registration may be accomplished at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov. An active registration in SAM is required. Registration is available at www.SAM.gov. An active registration in VETS100/100a Federal Contractor Report at www.dol.gov/vets/vets-100.html is required. Interested MATOC holders are encouraged to register via www.fbo.gov in order to view the formal solicitation when it is released.
