Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Solicitation VA69D-14-B-0223 Project 676-322 Construct B405 for 75 MHRRTP Beds Tomah VAMC in Tomah, WI Provide for and furnish all labor, superintendence, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, insurance, temporary protection, minor demolition, general construction, mechanical and electrical work, preparation, work for equipment, utility systems and other items required under the provisions of this contract to complete Project 676-322 CONSTRUCT B405 FOR 75 MHRRTP BEDS at the Tomah VA Medical Center in Tomah, WI. The new facility shall be a stand-alone three (3) story building, approximately 30,000 gross square feet for 75 patient beds. This project shall also include a 50 foot long, enclosed corridor to connect the new building with existing Building 404.Overall work shall include, but not be limited to the following items: This project assigned to the base contract shall be completed within 550 calendar days of NTP. The duration for Alternate Option(s) will vary, as detailed in Specifications Estimated construction magnitude price range: $5,000,000 - $10,000,000 The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on FedBizOpps - https://www.fbo.gov/. There will be a pre-bid conference/site walk-through held for this project and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package. This solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business firms. The solicitation will be issued on or about February 25, 2014 whereby the bid opening will be scheduled to be held thirty (30) calendar days once the FULL SOLICITATION package is posted to https://www.fbo.gov/. The bidder shall be responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOpps which may be issued to this solicitation. Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is restricted to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business construction firms.
