- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE - Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision in accordance with construction documents, drawings and specifications to complete Project 607-13-106 - Expand Clinical Lab at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, Madison, WI. Work includes, but is not limited to: demolition; hazardous material removal and disposal; carpentry; wall installation; interior finishes, door installations; pneumatic tube system extension, lab casework utility coordination, plumbing including medical gas system, fire protection; HVAC ductwork and piping, controls; electrical power and lighting, security systems and telecommunications. This work is phased construction. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on FedBizOpps. There will be a pre-bid conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package. This solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business firms. The solicitation will be issued on or about 27 February 2014 with the bid opening on or about 2 April 2014. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOpps which may be issued to this solicitation. Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is restricted to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business construction firms. The project magnitude range is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220; size standard $33.5 Million applies. Time for completion is 240 calendar days after Notice to Proceed.
