Description

The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk Naval Shipyard Contracting Division intends to negotiate a firm-fixed-price contract, sole source to Enecon Corporation, whereby this equipment will be used at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 325520, Adhesive Manufacturing. This will be an unrestricted requirement. The contract line items (CLINs) are as follows. CLIN 0001 (6) each, ENECON DURALLOY ORDERING DATA: METALCLAD DURALLOY ACTIVATOR AND BASE KITS (P/N DA12X1PASTE) EACH CASE CONTAINS 12X1 KG KITS EACH KIT CONTAINS 1 PART BASE AND 1 PART ACTIVATOR MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET REQUIRED WITH MATERIAL MUST NOT CONTAIN METHYLENE CHLORIDE a) All material for this line item must be marked and identified clearly on each individual container and LABEL IAW CFR29.1910.1200. b) The manufacturer, ENECON CORPORATION and product: METALCLAD DURALLOY ACTIVATOR & BASE KIT, 1 KG KITS, EACH KIT CONTAINS 1 PART BASE & 1 PART ACTIVATOR, on attached JML has been approved for use at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. The above manufacturer and product approved AUL # is: *** (12) 1 KG KITS = 1 CASE. *** 8030-AU-149-72AA 8030 LL N03 9605 S/L: (0-00) c) If another MANUFACTURER and PRODUCT IS OFFERED: The buyer must request a copy of the material safety data sheet and forward to Code 515.2. Designate "URGENT" or "ROUTINE" priority and suspend award pending reply. CLIN 0002 (6) each, ENECON DURALLOY ORDERING DATA: ENECON DURA TOUGH BASE AND ACTIVATOR EACH CASE CONTAINS 12 X 500 GRAM KITS BLUE EACH CASE CONTAINS 12 X 500 GRAM KITS GREEN EACH KIT CONTAINS 1 PART BASE AND 1 PART ACTIVATOR INCLUDES DURA TOUGH PRIMER 72 X 225 GRAM KITS MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET REQUIRED WITH MATERIAL MUST NOT CONTAIN METHYLENE CHLORIDE a) All material for this line item must be marked and identified clearly on each individual container and LABEL IAW CFR29.1910.1200. b) Date manufactured shall be marked and identified clearly on each individual unit label, regardless of its inclusion in batch numbers. c) Shelf life expiration date shall be clearly marked on each individual unit and must have 85% of shelf remaining at time of receipt. d) The manufacturer, ENECON CORPORATION and product: FLEXICLAD DURATOUGH 4 PART 500 GRAM KIT, EACH KIT CONTAINS 1 PART BASE & 1 PART ACTIVATOR BLUE & 1 PART BASE & 1 PART ACTIVATOR GREEN, on attached JML has been approved for use at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. The above manufacturer and product approved AUL # is: *** (12) 4 PART KITS -1 CASE CAUSE. (72) 4 PART KITS = 6 CASES. *** 8030 LL N03 9605 S/L: (0-00) e.) If another manufacturer and product is offered: The buyer must request a copy of the material safety data sheet and forward to Code-515.2. Designate "URGENT" or "ROUTINE" priority and suspend award pending reply. These items will be used for maintenance, repair and certification of equipment on Norfolk Shipyard. Important note: See "ordering data" for details. This procurement will be processed in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items. The solicitation number is SPMYM1-14-Q-0038 and it is expected to be posted on or about 14 February 2014 and posted in FedBizOpps, https://www.fbo.gov/. Quotes will be due by 2:00 PM EST on 24 February 2013 and may be emailed to the attention of Elizabeth Crocker at elizabeth.crocker@dla.mil.
