Description

Project Number 438-14-201, Repair Fire Pump (Sioux Falls, SD). Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to update the electrical system for the existing fire pump located at the Sioux Falls, South Dakota VA Health Care System. Work includes, but is not limited to, electrical work, utility systems, necessary demolition and removal of existing structures and certain other items necessary for completion. Work shall be performed in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings, and all applicable VA and local codes. Solicitation Number VA263-14-Q-1653 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about February 14, 2014. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to furnish a quote for the project. No Organized Site Visit will be held for this project. If a site visit is necessary, the vendor should refer to FAR 52.236-27 of the RFQ for directions. All proposals are due by March 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Payment Bond or Irrevocable Letter of Credit within 10 calendar days of award notification. The Period of Performance is expected to be 60 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice-to-Proceed. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
