Description

This is a presolicitation notice for the Television Distribution System Remediation firm-fixed price contract. ? The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC), Houston, TX intends to release a solicitation for the Television Distribution System Remediation to provide hardware upgrades and installation services for approximately 57 locations throughout the MEDVAMC. The applicable NAICS code is 238210 The Government intends to make a single award with a period of performance date of 2 days post-award until 30 days post-award. The solicitation is tentatively scheduled to be issued on or about February 20, 2014 and will be issued via Federal Business Opportunities Electronic Posting System at www.fedbizopps.gov. Offerors are responsible for checking the web site regularly to obtain amendments. Questions may be sent by email to: corey.labbe2@va.gov No telephonic inquiries will be accepted. All contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Timely registration is strongly encouraged, in order for the VA to verify the company's registration.
