- The VA Heartland Network 15 has a requirement to provide Polychlorinated Biphenyl (PCB) Remediation for elevator shaft located at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center 5500 East Kellogg Ave Wichita, KS 67218. The VA intends to award a contract to a qualified organization to provide these services for approximately the period of time of 03/01/2014 thru 02/28/2015 base year, with four follow-on option years. A Request for Quotes will be posted on FebBizOpps after the VA concludes its market research to the availability of possible sources. The NAICS code is 562910 with a size standard of 500 employees. The proposed contract is Set Aside 100% for Small Business. Services require contractor to furnish all the labor, equipment, and vehicles necessary to PCB Remediation. Contract shall be for a period of one (1) year with option to renew four (4) additional one year periods. Consideration for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned and Veteran-Owned Small Business Evaluation Factors VAAR 852.215-70 are included. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals will be evaluated on Technical Capability, Past Performance, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and / or Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) Status Factors, and Price in accordance with the evaluation criteria identified in the solicitation. Request for Quotes will be available on or about February 18, 2014. Due date for receipt of offers is February 25, 2014, 12:00 noon. CST. Anticipated award date is March 01, 2014.
