Description

The Government has an need for infectious medical waste and sharps disposal through incineration to include personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary for the storage, pickup, transportation, and disposal of regulated medical waste (RMW) generated from the Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center (HAMVAMC) located at 100 Emancipation Drive, Hampton Virginia and Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Virginia Beach, Virginia in Albemarle Primary Outpatient Clinic (APOC) Edenton, North Carolina.. The term of the contract shall be from the period/date of award through April 1, 2014 through September 30, 2014 with a Government option to extend the term of the contract for (4) additional one-year periods for the VA Medical Center, 100 Emancipation Drive, Hampton, Virginia. This Acquisition shall be procured and awarded using unrestricted procedures. The applicable NAIC is 562112 /Hazardous Waste Collection / $11.5Mil. Solicitation closes at 4:00 p.m. EST, March 11, 2014. This requirement is subject to the availability of Fiscal Year funds. NO hard copy solicitation will be provided.
