Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to increase the engineering services by 15,000 hours under contract N00024-08-C-4201 for research and development activities associated with the design, fabrication, and test of Integrated Power Systems and electrical power distribution equipment with Alion Science and Technology Corporation, 1000 Burr Ridge Parkway, Suite 202, Burr Ridge IL 60527-0849. The period of performance will be through 30 September 2016 to allow the contractor to fully demonstrate the prototypes being developed as a result of the contract awarded in response to a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA). The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.
