Description

Construct a new 42,000 SF B-52 Aircraft Maintenance Unit (AMU) Facility which includes aircraft parts and tool storage bays, parts and tool dispatch area, administrative open office area, command suite, classrooms, assembly area, men's and women's shower/locker rooms, and mechanical and electrical support rooms. The building will be steel framed with long span joists, beams, and columns. Exterior finishes consist of multiple materials including insulated architectural pre-cast concrete wall panels, glazed curtain wall system, pre-finished metal wall panels, face brick, and cast stone. Project includes ground source geothermal heat pumps, concrete access drive with access control gates, and asphalt vehicle parking lot with curb and gutters. Note that this is a pre-solicitation notice only with no requirement to respond. No additional information regarding specifications or drawings are available at this time. Anticipate solicitation to be posted on or about 13 Mar 14. Full and Open Competition.
