- The Army Contracting Command (ACC), New Jersey intends to solicit & award an acquisition for lodging and conference services in the Columbus, OH area. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide the requested services. The place of performance is within 10 miles from Port Columbus International Airport. The period of performance for this effort is from 6-10 March 2014. The resultant contract is anticipated to be a Firm-Fixed Price type contract. This acquisition is issued as a 100% Small Business Set Aside under the primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 721110 and the related small business size standard of $30 million. For a proposal submitted by an offeror that is not a hotel, the offeror must describe in its proposal the technical approach for the offeror's services as a prime contractor and submit a complete technical proposal for evaluation purposes. An offer which requires the Government to execute a separate agreement with a third party hotel shall be deemed technically unacceptable. This synopsis is provided for informational purposes and is not to be considered a request for quote/proposal. Solicitation Number W15QKN-14-T-1165 is assigned for reference purposes. The entire solicitation will be made available on or about 20 February 2014 via the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The required response date will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates, or changes to the solicitation. Please be advised that hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available; you must download solicitation documents from the ASFI. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number, a CAGE code, and register in the System for Award Management (SAM) located at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number, a CAGE code and register in the SAM may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror.
