- Expressions of Interest Due: March 7, 2014 Market Survey (Estimated): March 27, 2014 Offers Due: (Estimated): June 1, 2014 Occupancy (Estimated): August 1, 2015 General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State: Illinois City: Springfield Delineated Area: Within the City Limits of Springfield, IL Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 1,436 Maximum Sq. FT. (ABOA): 1,508 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Total): 2 Parking Spaces (Surface): 0 Parking Spaces (Structured): 0 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 2 Full Term: 10 years Firm Term: 5 years Cancellation: 90 days notice after initial 5 year term Option Term: N/A Additional Requirements: - Requires access to the building 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and 365 days per year. -Offered space shall be modern office space and be located in a new or modern office building that projects a professional and aesthetically pleasing appearance. -Space on the second floor or above is preferred. -Space must have two means of egress. -Space must be serviced by a major public bus line. -Space must have two elevators. -Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. -The proposed leased space shall be fully serviced. -Offered space shall not be in the 100 year flood plain. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing and should include the following information at minimum (This is not an invitation for bids or a request for proposals): • Building name/address; • Legal property description, recent survey, and property identification numbers (PIN). • Location of space in the building and date it will be available. • One-eighth inch scale drawing of space offered. • ANSI/BOMA defined office area/useable square feet (USF) and rental rate per square foot, specifying services, utilities, and tenant improvement allowance included. • Name, address, telephone number, and email address of authorized contact. • In cases where an agent is representing multiple ownership entities, written acknowledgement. • Permission to represent multiple owners for the same submission. Please refer to Project Number 3IL0374 when responding. AUTHORIZED CONTACTS: GSA is using a tenant broker to represent the Government in lease negotiations for this transaction.
