Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network 23 Contracting Office; Ft. Meade, South Dakota intends to award a Fixed Price contract in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541330 for Electrical Calibration at Hot Springs and Fort Meade Campus, and the business size standard is $14.0Million. Description of the Requirement: Awarded Contractor shall provide all labor and materials to provide all electrical calibration at Hot Springs and Fort Meade Campus per drawings and specifications. The contractor shall be a corporately independent testing organization which can function as an unbiased testing authority, professionally independent of the manufacturers, suppliers and installers of equipment or systems evaluated by the testing firm. The contractor shall be regularly engaged in the testing of electrical equipment devices, installations and systems. The contractor shall meet OSHA criteria for accreditation of testing laboratories, Title 29, Part 1907, or be a Full member company of the International Electrical Testing Association. Contract requirement for Electrical Calibration at Hot Springs and Fort Meade Campus, and the business size standard is $14.0Million. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. This solicitation, VA263-14-Q-1315, will be issued on or about February 21st, 2014 with a tentative closing date of March 10th, 2014. The date is not firm and may change due to events out of our control. The anticipated award date will be March 13th, 2014. This procurement is listed as Total Small Business Set-aside.
