Description

The Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center, located in Wilkes-Barre, PA, intends to solicit bids for 104 doors to be repaired or replaced, as instructed in Scope of Work (see solicitation when RFQ is posted). The solicitation will be posted to http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ on or about 24 Feb. 2014 and will close 4 March 2014 at 9:00 AM (EST). The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 238290, and the applicable Product Service Code is J035. The government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of the solicitation. The solicitation may be downloaded from FedBizOpps since copies of the solicitation will not be available for mailing. All prospective offerors must be registered within System for Award Management and have an active DUNS number in order for offeror to be awarded this purchase order. The RFQ will be a Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Small-Business-Set-Aside. The proposed purchase order is for services for which the Government intends to accept the lowest price technically acceptable.
