Description

This is a Pre-solicitation Notice Only. No proposals are being requested at this time. Furthermore, no "Draft" Request For Proposals (RFPs) or Performance Work Statements (PWS) will be available prior to release of the solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center, intends to issue solicitation VA259-14-R-0131 for Off- Site Mammography Services in Denver, Colorado Springs and Pueblo, Colorado for the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care Systems. The requirement is for clinical space, equipment and personnel to perform mammography services by CPT codes in accordance to the Performance Work Statement. It is anticipated that three (3) contracts will be awarded as a result of the solicitation - one for mammography services provided within 15 miles of VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System, 1055 Clermont Street, Denver, CO 80220, one for mammography services provided within the Colorado Springs city limits and one for mammography services provided within the Pueblo city limits. Each contract will have 12-month base period and 2 one-year option periods. Services will be required around April 1, 2014. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 621512. Size standard is $14.0 Million. The VA anticipates awarding fixed price indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity type contracts. The electronic solicitation will be available for download on or around Wednesday, February 26, 2014, from the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at www.fbo.gov. No hard copies of the solicitation will be provided. It is the responsibility of those responding to the RFP to obtain all amendments and/or applicable documents. Offerors are instructed to hold all questions until the RFP has been issued. NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED. In order to be eligible for award, interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov.
