- This is a modification to the original pre-solicitation notice. The Department of Veterans Affairs National Acquisition Center, Denver Acquisition & Logistics Center (VA DALC) intends to solicit indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity fixed price contract(s) for Artificial Larynges. The items awarded will provide the normal supply requirement for Veterans Affairs Medical Centers. The estimated quantities will be noted in the solicitation. All artificial larynges will be ordered by the VA DALC. The contract period will be for one year, plus four (4) one-year option periods to be exercised at DALC discretion. If offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer and remain in effect for the duration of the contract period, including option years. This will be a commercial item procurement using competitive procedures. It is expected that one or more of the items under this acquisition are subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. The VA DALC anticipates awarding one or more indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed price contract(s). Applicable NAICS code is 339113. The original solicitation estimated release date was on or about January 27, 2014. The current solicitation estimated release date is February 24, 2014. Contracting Officer is Michael W. Johnson.
